Upcoming Native American Art Event in La Conner

O n January 24, 11Am-4PM,the Skagit County Historical Museum will host the annual “Gathering of Native American Artists”. Nine artists from seven Pacific Northwest tribal communities will participate in a Panel discussion at 2PM. Working artists will be beading, quilting, basket weaving, creating button robes, ceramic masks cedar bark and wool garments. Admission is free to members and children under 6, $4 adults/ $8 families/ $3 seniors & childres 6-12. Picture is of “Canoe Journey” by Betty Pasco.
